Research on 28E agreements between local governments in Iowa is presented in several ways. The analysis of the database of 28E agreements filed with the Iowa Secretary of State includes GIS maps of agreements filed between 1993 and 2003 (developed by Dr. Monica Haddad, Department of Community and Regional Planning). Analysis of the survey data obtained from local government managers about how they manage interlocal agreements is presented primarily in the conference papers and journal articles below.
