Day 2 Recap The first game of the day say Washington & Jefferson trying to hang on to their tournament life as they faced-off against Minot. In a penalty filled game, Minot had 4 power play goals in the game as they pulled out the win 5-2, sending Washington & Jefferson home. In the second game of the day, fans were treated to a fast skating affair as West Chester skated against Michigan-Dearborn. West Chester was playing spirited hockey as they took the early lead 1-0. An upset looked like it was in the making when UM-D caught a break and put one home. In the third period, UM-D put the pressure on as they scored the game winning goal with about 10 minutes to go. UM-D came out on top 2-1. Game 3 on the day saw Weber State pulling out their first National Tournament victory as the beat Arizona State 3-2. In a hard hitting physical game, Arizona State jumped out to an early lead, but Weber was not phased as the fought back to take the game 3-2. The final game of the day saw the host ISU take on Towson. Towson played an inspired game as they jumped out to an early lead about 1 minute into the game. ISU was quick to responded by scoring 2 and never looking back. The game ended up with ISU coming out on top 8-4. Day 3 looks to be huge as all the top seeds have won so far.
