The ASCE Iowa Section Annual Meeting will take place at the Gateway Hotel and Conference Center on September 10, 2009.
The Iowa-Section annual meeting on Thursday, September 10, provides information on current practices and new techniques in civil engineering design, materials, and construction. The meeting also provides an opportunity to participate in the business issues of the Iowa-section, learn about emerging issues in the business of civil engineering, and take part in the annual recognition of Iowa section members though various awards.
The traditional golf-outing on Friday afternoon this year will be held at The Harvester in Rhodes, Iowa, and is sponsored by Central Iowa YMG.
The optional Friday morning Workshop "Critical Thinking/Engineer Leadership" has been cancelled and will not be offered.
