Objectives: Provide a forum for Asphalt Industry Safety Coordinators to find information to assist them in carrying out their duties. It is also intended to provide an opportunity for discussion among the participants about mutual problems and solutions. The ultimate goal is an increased level of safety in the plant and on the grade for the Asphalt Industry.

Intended Audience:Asphalt related construction company Safety Officers and staff involved in the safety training, compliance and management of accident prevention or insurance claim reduction. It is also of interest to state, county, city and consultant safety officers that are involved in the management of safety programs for government and private industry involved with mining or asphaltic concrete product usage.

Registration Information: This program is a new addition to the GIAC (Greater Iowa Asphalt Conference) and is being offered at no charge to participants. Participants must only register so that we can make the best use of limited space for the program. Please use the attached registration form to register for the Safety Coordinator Workshop and consider the additional registration for the full GIAC conference on March 5-6, 2009.
