For beginning and experienced farmers to come together, network, and share ideas.


The Beginning Farmers Network is a student run organization at Iowa State University supporting all beginning farmers. The goal of the organization is to keep beginning farmers informed on current events in agriculture. The network also provides a supportive peer network for beginning farmers.
The conference topics include Marketing, Government Programs for Beginning Farmers, Risk Management, Farm Bill, Land Lease Arrangements and Farm Succession planning. Featured speakers include Mike Pearson, host of Market to Market, and a panel of successful beginning farmers.
