Bridge Inspection Training Courses
The past Bridge Inspection Training Courses were offered through 2009 in a joint effort of Iowa State University Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering Department and the Iowa Department of Transportation.
Beginning in Fall 2009, all questions regarding Iowa Bridge Inspection Training should now be directed to Bruce Brakke, Director of the Office of Bridge Maintenance, 515-239-1165 or Eric Southrada of the same office 515-239-7720.
Those interested in attending such courses outside the state of Iowa should be directed to the National Highway Institute website at
