Cheryl Achterberg, PhD is Dean of the College of Human Sciences at Iowa State University. She received her PhD in Human Nutrition from Cornell University in NY and was the founding Dean of the Schreyer Honors College at Pennsylvania State University prior to coming to Ames. Her research over the years has focused on nutrition education and she has several publications in peer reviewed research journals
Dianne Neumark-Sztainer, PhD, MPH, RD is a Professor in the Division of Epidemiology and Community Health, School of Public Health and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, both at the University of Minnesota. Her research interests focus mainly on adolescent nutrition and the prevention of weight-related disorders. Dr. Neumark-Sztainer did her PhD in Behavioral Sciences and Nutrition at the Hebrew University-Hadassah in Jerusalem, Israel and her Post-Doctoral Fellowship with the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN..
Kenneth Resnicow, PhD is a professor in the Department of Health Behavior and Health Education in the School of Public Health at University of Michigan. He has worked in many areas of health behavior change and currently is principal investigator for a NHLBI grant on "Brief Motivational Interviewing to Reduce Child BMI". Dr. Resnicow did his PhD at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology in the Albert Einstein College of medicine in NYC.
