Make plans to participate in County Extension Council Training on December 1st!
Newly-elected and current council members should plan to attend training on December 1, 2012; county staff members also are welcome to attend.
The "Making a Difference Across Iowa" webinar training will be hosted at 12 sites, where local conversations will build on presenters' comments. The 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. agenda includes Cathann Kress giving an introduction to Iowa State University Extension and Outreach guiding principles and philosophy; explanations of county council member roles and responsibilities as related to fiscal, programming and personnel management; and information about laws and resources that support extension council work.
