NOAA's 9th annual Climate Prediction Application Science (CPAS) Workshop will bring together users of climate information, applied climatologists, tool developers, social scientists, and climate information providers. The workshop will highlight uses of seasonal to centennial outlooks, identify climate information gaps, and discuss approaches for effective information delivery for agriculture, fish and wildlife management, hydrology, urban adaptation and human health. The 9th CPAS Workshop will be held at the Des Moines Marriot Downtown in Des Moines, Iowa on 1-4 March 2011.

The 9th CPAS Workshop is hosted by the Iowa State University Climate Science Program; and co-sponsored by ISU College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, ISU Bioeconomy Institute, High Plains Regional Climate Center, University Corporation for Atmospheric Research, NOAA Climate Prediction Center, NOAA Climate Services Division, NOAA Central Region Climate Service, and NOAA RISA. USDA ARS and Midwest Regional Climate Center are co-operating sponsors.
