ASCE Geotechnical Conference -- Welcome/home

The Program Will Begin with registration at 7:15 a.m. on March 5, 2009 at the Stoney Creek Inn in Johnston, Iowa, with the program beginning at 8:30. The registration fee for the 2009 ASCE Geotechnical Conference is $170 for members and $195 for non-members. Your registration fee includes all program materials, lunch, and all refreshment breaks.

This annual conference provides information on current practices and new techniques in geotechnical analysis, design, materials, and construction. Conference topics cover a broad array of contemporary issues and design and construction techniques for professionals involved in highway design, foundations, site development, and geo-environmental disciplines.

This annual conference offers a valuable opportunity for the exchange of technical expertise among design professionals, contractors, owners, and developers working on projects in the subsurface environment or at sites influenced by geotechnical constraints.

The conference is sponsored by the Iowa Section - ASCE, and the Department of Civil, Construction, & Environmental Engineering and University Extension, at Iowa State University.
