William Cullina
William Cullina holds degrees in plant science and psychology and has been working in plant propagation and nursery production for over twenty years. He is a nationally recognized speaker, writer and expert on native plants. He has authored 4 popular books, writes frequently for popular and technical journals, and lectures extensively to garden and professional groups. Currently he is Curator for Coastal Maine Botanical Garden in Boothbay.
Kelly Norris
Kelly, another Iowa Master Gardener, has developed an impressive resume for someone so young. He is owner of Rainbow Iris Farm, contributing editor of Garden and Greenhouse, editor of the Dwarf Iris Society of America newsletter, and still manages to find time to work on writing a book - or two. As a speaker he is praised for his high-energy, zealous presentations of information and personal stories that share his love and knowledge of horticulture.
Denny Schrock
Dr. Denny Schrock joined Meredith Publishing in 2002, and has since edited more than 20 gardening books. Recent releases include the Miracle-Gro Complete Guide to Houseplants, Miracle-Gro Complete Guide to Vegetables, Fruits & Herbs, All About Citrus & Subtropical Fruits, All About Palms, and Better Homes & Gardens Garden Doctor: Advice from the Experts. He currently serves as editor of Landscape Solutions magazine and provides content for the bhg.com website. Prior to his move to Des Moines, Dr. Schrock spent 18 years as extension horticulture specialist and coordinator of Master Gardener programs for the University of Minnesota, Colorado State University, the University of Missouri, and the University of Illinois. With each move he designed and developed a landscape featuring waterwise herbaceous perennials. He got a jumpstart on landscape number seven at his Urbandale, IA, home by moving 850 shrubs and perennials with him from his previous landscape.
