This year's conference will celebrate James Vary's 70th birthday. James has made important contributions to nuclear physics and computational physics, mentored a number of students and postdocs, and served the science community in a number of elected and appointed positions. The conference topics -- reflecting James's research interests -- encompass a broad area of fundamental physics and high-performance computing.
