About the Conference
The 14th Annual Spring Research Conference (SRC) on Statistics in Industry and Technology will be held May 21-23, 2007. The conference will take place in the Scheman Building on the campus of Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. It is hosted by the university's Department of Statistics.
The SRC is an annual conference jointly sponsored by the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS) and the Section on Physical and Engineering Sciences of the American Statistical Association (ASA/SPES).
The goal of the SRC is to promote cross-disciplinary research in statistical methods for engineering, science and technology. The conference brings together statisticians, researchers in the application areas, and industrial practitioners working in these areas. It provides a forum where participants can describe current research efforts, identify important problems and areas of application, and formulate future research directions.
