Local Arrangements

The conference will be held in the Union Drive Community Center, Room 136. This room is equipped with a Windows based computer and LCD projector. Presenters may also bring Laptops which can be connected to the LCD projector. Presenters are encouraged to always bring their presentation on a USB drive or CD. A laser pointer will be provided.

Campus Map

Iowa State University is located in Ames, Iowa. Interstate 35 runs north and south just east of Ames, and U.S. Highway 30 runs east and west just south of campus.

If you are traveling to Ames via Interstate 35, take Exit 111B labeled "30 West". Travel west on Highway 30, then take Exit 146, the "Elwood Drive/ISU" exit. Drive north on Elwood Drive to Lincoln Way (the fourth traffic light). At Lincoln Way, turn left (west) and go to Welch Avenue (the fifth traffic light) Turn right (north on Welch). Street curves to the left and becomes Union Drive.

Residence Hall Accommodations

Rooms have been set aside in the Friley residence hall for June 6 - June 8 (check in Wednesday and check out Friday, both at Martin Hall). The dorm room costs are included in the registration.

Each guest receives sheets, pillow, pillowcase, blanket, two towels, one washcloth, and soap. Towel exchange is available daily at a centralized location.

Conference Banquet
The conference banquet will be held on the evening of Thursday, June 7, at the Knapp-Storms Dining Complex.

Parking
Free parking is available in Lot 60 (stalls designated for conference participants) located one block south of Friley Hall.

Parking is also available at the Memorial Union Parking Ramp, located one block east of Friley Hall. The maximum daily parking fee (24 hours) is $7.00.
