Women leaders from education, politics, business and non-profit organizations will gather to discuss and develop strategies for building women's leadership in Iowa.

  • Elizabeth Hoffman, Executive Vice President and Provost at Iowa State University, will convene the Summit
  • Rosalind Chait Barnett, Ph.D., Senior Research Scientist and Executive Director of the Community, Families, and Work Program at Brandeis University, Waltham, Mass., will speak on "Gender, Leadership and the Natural Order"
  • Concurrent workshops on how to advance women in leadership positions
Registration by April 18th is $30 and includes a salad and pasta buffet. After April 18th, registration is $40. Iowa State University students who attend can receive a refund.

The summit is part of the Advancing Women Leaders initiatives sponsored by the Women's Leadership Consortium, University Committee on Women, Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics, Office of the Provost, and the Committee on Lectures (funded by Government of Student Body).
